Turn on some tunes, curl up on the sofa and get ready for a wonderful ride. From the very first page, you’ll find yourself pedaling along with Abagal Smart as she encounters life in all its uncertain, often daunting glory.
The good, the bad, the ugly, and the hysterical. Sandra Mullen’s first novel is candidly autobiographical and eternally optimistic.
We’ve all “been there; done that; bought the teeshirt” and if you can’t relate to some of Abagal’s trials and tribulations as she encounters all-too-familiar bumps along her pathway to enlightenment, then you’re not living in the 21st century. But don’t worry—you’ll laugh anyway! That’s a given.
As John Lennon said, “Life is what happens when you’re making other plans.” Abagal opens up her closets and her life,
pimples and all, and invites us to get out of our own realities to see the bigger picture. A marvelous introduction to what I hope will be many more adventures with Abagal and her gal pals. I want more!

As I joined the book’s heroine Abagal Smart on her journey from idealism to wisdom, I was reminded of my own journey along the road of life to mature womanhood. Sandra Mullen has captured our life passages with her daringly honest, edgy, and entertaining approach. I look forward to reading her future adventures.

Mullen does a nice job of taking us through her life journey from teenager to today, touching on the quirky female thought process as she goes. I have passed this book onto two friends already, and recommend ladies, that you sign your name inside the cover as you go - as testimony to the fact that, whether you like it or not, you’re in there! I give her two thumb’s up and also await parts II, III, and IV! Nice job all around.
Purchase this one for any gal who is traveling along her rocky road, for a GREAT BIG laugh!

The author has written this hilarious take on “Abagal Smart’s” professional women’s “balancing act”. I don’t know of one woman that couldn’t relate to this heroine’s story! If you are a baby boomer, this is nostalgic fun. If you are a newly single Mom and are lost navigating the dating waters while trying to be the perfect Mom, it’s a godsend! If you just love an intelligent witty read this is a must!I read the book in a couple of hours and now wait patiently for a sequel?!
