Amanda Russell

Bringing Abagal to Life

At twenty-two years young, Amanda Russell envisions well beyond her age. She began scribbling on the walls at an early age. Inspired by her father’s old sketch books and her mother’s arts and crafts, Russell felt her artistic calling. She began pursuing art seriously under the tutelage and inspiration of her high school art teacher; Nina Masters.

Russell received the Bright Futures Scholarship to attend the University of Florida where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in art history. She attended the Rhode Island School of Design and Washington University in St. Louis. She spent a summer in Florence, Italy designing books and studying old world art. Today, Russell resides in Daytona Beach, FL and works as a free lance artist.
